Joseph Smith
Joseph Smith was appointed as Executive Producer of Old Vic Productions in 2006. Joseph has a successful 15 year track record of theatre production under his belt, including 10 years at the National Theatre where highlights involved producing the Transformation Season under Trevor Nunn. One of the plays Joseph produced in this season was the Olivier award-winning Play without Words by Matthew Bourne. In addition to his considerable experience in the West End, Joseph has also spent the last four years working for the Broadway producer Ron Kastner in New York where he was Associate Producer for Gypsy, Life x 3, Talking Heads and The Retreat from Moscow.

Becky Barber
Becky joined Old Vic Productions in January 2007 as Production Administrator after working for Cameron Mackintosh for two years. Prior to that she trained and worked as an actress and Director. Whilst at Cameron Mackintosh Becky worked on the opening of Avenue Q (Noel Coward Theatre), the 20th Anniversary of The Phantom of the Opera (Her Majesty's Theatre) and 21st Anniversary of Les Misérables (Queen's Theatre). She also assisted in the setting up of a joint venture with China for a ground breaking Chinese language production of Les Misérables.

Since joining OVP Becky has worked on Billy Elliot (London, Australia and New York), co-productions with the Old Vic Theatre Company, Swimming with Sharks (Vaudeville Theatre) and Desperately Seeking Susan (Novello Theatre). In November 2007, Becky was Assistant Producer on Vincent River (Trafalgar Studios) staring Lynda Bellingham and Mark Field.

Emily Blacksell
Before joining Old Vic Productions, Emily worked as assistant PA to Sir Paul McCartney for five years and prior to that, as assistant to John Barton at the Royal Shakespeare Company. During her time at the RSC, she worked on John Barton's Tantalus, a co-production with the Denver Centre for Performing Arts, directed by Sir Peter Hall and Edward Hall. A keen director and musician herself, Emily has assistant directed a French language production of A Midsummer Night's Dream at the Théâtre Gérard Philipe in Paris, as well as two operas: Puccini's La Fanciulla del West for Opera Holland Park and Britten's The Rape of Lucretia for the Royal College of Music. Emily was credited as Executive Producer for Greene Light Films short, Player, for which she both raised finance and helped guide the project to completion. Emily is also on the Board of Directors of the HighTide Festival, a Suffolk based theatre and film festival.
